Yep, those old smokers are great bikes, I had a T250 and my mate Pete had a T500, and they were both very quick. The exhaust end baffles might be plugged with old 2 stroke oil, but the pipes won't be rusted out, and if it's missing on one cylinder it's probably a bad coil, I had one on my bike.
If it pumps brown smoke (not blue) then as Eric said, it could be dried out crank seals and is sucking gearbox oil into the engine, but while that's an engine out job, being a two stroke, it's not a really hard one. They're not as fast as a Kawasaki triple, but they go around corners a heck of a lot better, Suzuki's were the best handling of all the Jap bikes of the era. Cheers, Terry.
