Fuse box on CB350F????
« on: April 26, 2017, 11:23:59 am »
Just joined......Thanks for any help in advance.

Just picked up a pair of 350F's. One runs one doesn't. Electrical issues on both.

Downloaded the service manuals.

Can't for the life of me find a fuse box on either bike. I know there must because they include the extra fuses mounted on the inside of the side cover. Where is it????

Thanks!!

Under the left side cover, little plastic black box with a cover and three fuses and a spare (IIRC) inside.

Unless it's been deleted/moved...

Hmmmm...... I don't see anything under the side covers of either bike that looks like a fusebox. I'm assuming that the owners manual would have the location clearly indicated. Any body have a photo from a CB350F owners manual???

I can't imagine that the fusebox was removed or moved on two separate bikes from two separate sellers.

I'm stumped.

Try doing a google image search. If they both came from the same PO, there's no reason to believe he didn't remove both. They're supposed to be right there under the side cover. If you have a wiring diagram follow that -- it'll show which wires go through the fuse box.

What Mr. Chicken is referring to is the spare fuse holder on the inside of the sidecover. The 350F doesn't have a proper fusebox because there's only one fuse for the whole bike. Somewhere in the wires under that left sidecover there should be a plastic tube with wires coming out both ends. It's a clamshell cover and inside of it is the lone main fuse.

Edit: Not actually sure what he's referring too. I know the 750 has a fusebox as he's describing.

Aha!! That makes sense....I see the plastic clamshell fuseholder. Thanks so much.....

Now that I know what I'm looking for I'll take a better look at the wiring diagram.

Holy #$%* -- sorry guys, I was thinking 400F (3 fuses) not 350F.
