Where can I find....information on....

1-Pictures of all cb750's through the years, 1970-79 (and paint codes),
2-pictures of all cb550's though the years (original paints also),
   -where to find OEM paints for cb550's 74,75,76
    -a good paintgun
3-original warning/information stickers for the above,

4-a new body, as the one I currently occupy is starting to show it's age  8)

AFAIK - There were no factory paint codes, as that practice wasn't invoked until the 80's.  Some paint vendors had codes they made up. But, they were single company codes which may or may not have crossed with other paint MFG codes.

Honda only had paint descriptions for their parts department, which they used to resell replacement parts, or sales distribution of new units.

Honda didn't repaint, they replaced.  Honda dealerships may have done some paint repairs, outside Honda corporate umbrella, which is likely where the paint MFG paint codes got instantiated.

But, I'm pretty sure Honda offered no formulas for making their specific paint colors for the SOHC4.


If I find a new body available, I'm not sharing it with you.  Yeah, I'm selfish that way...  ;)
