Tachometer plug 78 cb550, same as 71-76??

Anyone have any experience with what to do with it?? Joker machining has one available .. it says it fits a 71-76 cb550 but may fit other years. Is the 78 connection the same as the 71-76??

I've got 2 of JWebster's 750 tach plugs, but I don't know if they'll fit a 550. He would know for sure.
