1978 CB750A finally finished!....SOLD!
« on: June 02, 2017, 10:28:51 PM »
"Many Thanks" once again to all on the Forum for help and advice on this most recent rebuild of our "barn find" 750A with only 4,628 original miles when purchased.  This is the 3rd one we've rebuilt and returned to "active duty".

You can see the results of our effort at..................

I'll get it posted in the FOR SALE section if I can figure out how to post the pictures!

THANKS AGAIN!!!!!

Have you ever had to replace a title? I'm having issues getting mine legal, sorry for hijacking the post.

Start a new thread about titling. Tons of information regarding the "Vermont Method" of beginning this process. South Dakota also is a possibility but I have zero experience trying an old vehicle there.

When you rebuilt the carbs, how did you get around the issue of the fixed needle being NLA? I'm rebuilding a set of '78 carbs now and being told I can't or shouldn't use the multi grooved needles that come with the kits. the '76-77 used them but they changed in '78. Was that an issue for you?
