the thing that bothers me is the possibility of the seller having multiple accounts to bid on their own stuff to up the bid price. then all the seller has to do is retract that bid and offer a second chance bid to the bidder that he jacked the price up on. i don't think that happened here but, i'm sure it happens.
another way ebay sux.

edit: and what's the point of the disclamer "when you click bid you enter into a legally binding contract etc." if you can just retract that bid?
i'm just venting... excellent cb purchase to get this thread back on track.
