so, the most ever online is 75.

kindof a crappy number in my opinion.

on new years day, i'd like to try to shatter that record.  i figure, that will be the day that most of us are at home nursing our hangovers so being on the computer won't inflict too much pain.

so, during the afternoon (in the U.S.), i'm thinking between 1 and 5 we all have a new year's day posting party!

let's show this forum who's boss

ok... as a backup for the moment...

photobucket.com

upload your pics there

when you want to display them here you'll want to copy the url link below the pic... photobucket is cool because if you simply left click that link it will shortly give you a copied box telling you that it is copied so you can paste it else where

then, you click the img button above the wink and cheesy smiley

then you'll paste that link between the two image brackets

do not copy the image link from photobucket because sohc forums wants lower case [img] not[IMG] which is what photobucket tacks on... it works for most sites but not this one.

if you guys would be willing to do this it would make the size of pictures you can display a lot larger!  it would not take up valuable space on here... yada yada yada

In the upper-right of your screen there is a box with "key stats" listed. Looks like 3,092 as of now.

I would love to join in, however, as per my annual tradition, I will be on my local limestone stream fly fishing for big brown trout.

This is my other addiction:

We did the same last April in a music forum I'm a member of, and we succeeded in setting a new record of 17 users online! Needless to say, it's a pretty small forum, but in the same way, it was very hard to have everything on the computer at the same time, specially because of the World time zones.

But as most of you are in the States, it would be much easier. I'm traveling to visit the family on 24th and this year I won't carry my laptop. In fact I won't even carry any of my many bike books awaiting to be read. I want to disconnect, at least for one week during the year, of everything related to bikes. My wife is not going to believe it.

Just think, be part of a record breaking team on 1st Jan and the jobs done - you don't have to try too hard for the rest of the year  :D  :D

1-5pm in Colorado would be 8-12pm  in the UK, if I read the chart properly.
