Rechroming Shops

Anyone have any insight into good/fair priced/legit chroming shops in the northeast/midatlantic US?

I have a pile of stuff from my CA77, CA95, CB350F restos that need to be redone, and would like
to deal with a shop that isn't going to butcher the job.

Not looking for concours, but something better than stock would be nice...:)

I'd leaf through a copy of Hemmings Motor News. I've seen several plating places advertise there.

LOOK at sample of there work before you leave anything, I was hammered by a chrome shop in Indy.
Get a price in writing second, they inflated the price after they where done, and last take the work outside in the sun to check it out.    Good luck.

Here in the UK, rechroming can often work out more expensive than buying a new part. Therefore only worthwhile if a new part is not obtainable. Also it is worth taking a photo of any part you leave for chroming as it helps identify your stuff when the chrome shop says 'Sorry, we don't have anything like that'.
