Texas Hill Country Ride Oct. 28th 29th
« on: July 27, 2017, 08:49:34 pm »
I thought I'd throw this out there to see if there was any interest from the sohc4.net group  ?
I also have a CB900F and belong to the cb1100f.net forum and did an event with them this past spring, where my wife and I met some great people and enjoyed some great riding.

So along those lines I'm helping organize a Texas Hill Country ride, based out of Kerrville, with most of the group arriving on Friday October 27th, with plans to ride the 3 Sisters roads, Saturday October 28th and Sunday October 29th.

I'd like to invite any fellow local Texas Sohc4.net forum members to come and join us.

If anyone is interested, please let me know and I'll post details and host hotel info

That sounds fantastic, is it a camp trip?

However, the 15th Annual Harvest Classic is the weekend before, we usually have a good turnout for that and I don't plan on missing it.   Might be difficult to swing both events.

I also attend the a Harvest Classic, which is why we scheduled this event the weekend after. I didn't want to wait too late into November for fear of cold weather, and I know some people are attending the Barber Vintage Festival, earlier in October as well.
We are basing out of a Hotel as some guys are flying in from out of state, but that doesn't mean you couldn't camp if you wanted, and meet up with us and ride 😀

Here is the hotel info for anyone interested  :)

OK, I have this set up at the YO Ranch Resort and Hotel for Friday October 27th thru Sunday October 29th.

The YO Ranch Hotel is right off I10/ 16 as you come into Kerrville from San Antonio
They have a large parking lot, with plenty of space for trucks and trailers for anyone coming in, and a swimming pool, restaurant, and a bar if we return late from riding, and don't want to leave the hotel.
Visit www.yoranchhotel.com or call 1-877-967-3767 for reservations the room block is under CB1100F Forum, they are giving us a special rate of $119 per night for single or double, which is a $20 to $40 discount over their regular rate.

The room block is being held until September 27 th, after that the rooms will be available on a first come, first serve at the going room rate.

You can also visit this link to make reservations online.

I am planning on arriving Friday afternoon, and riding all day Saturday and Sunday.
I know some people may want to leave mid day Sunday, so we will have routes scheduled to try and accommodate everyone's schedule.

Will be a good group of guys and gals, with some great riding, come join us  :)
