Topic: 1980 cb650 turn signal and brake light

Hey guys I'm just trying to get some insight/advice on an issue I'm having with my cb650 turn signals and brake lights. So I have running lights that come on up front and rear. However when turn signal is engaged I get no flash to the rear and front turn signal turns off on whichever side I'm using. Replaced the flasher but that didn't help. Also not getting any rear brake light from foot pedal switch or hand brake. Any ideas?

Have you done any work to the wiring recently? It sounds like you've got some wires hooked up wrong.
Do you have a copy of the shop manual?

Haven't done anything to the wiring. It worked previously. I had the main 30 amp fuse blow but it was replaced and everything else was restored back to normal except the turn signals and brake lights.

Hmm. Have you checked the bulbs? Does the tail light work and just not the brake light? Could be a blown element.

Yeah the tail light works but nothing for a brake light. The blinkers are what I'm more concerned about.
