DGR presents; survivor

Survivor; the story of a man who developed idiopathic tinnitus and his struggle to cope with the disorder.

Gents, this video hit me hard.
Several years ago, I developed an inner ear infection that led to a complete (and fortunately temporary) loss of my hearing.  But it left me with a severe and chronic case of tinnitus.  It has improved some, but it's still something I have to live with.

I can deeply empathize with this fellow.

My uncle has bad tinnitus due to a hereditary ear issue. He is a pretty successful musician and can tune his guitar off the ring in his one ear. Pretty crazy.

Talk about finding the silver lining.
