CB750 K2 Clutch Noise
« on: October 05, 2017, 10:57:42 PM »
Honda CB750 K2 Clutch jerk/grab when the clutch is engaged.
I have already fitted new clutch plates and it has made no difference. Clutch adjustment set as per manual. The clutch does not slip and the bike is driving normally, changing gears etc. all seems perfect but when moving off from a stop position in first gear the bike jerks as if the clutch is grabbing or gripping more, it also make a sudden groan type noise. Once moving the bike operates normally in all gear and speeds.
Can anyone advise, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Nic, I thought that too, but they are in correctly, the old plates that i replaced were doing the same. I also have another CB750 k5 and it makes the same noise on a very odd occasion and its on the existing plates.

Are both bikes using the same oil brand and weight?

The clutch mod might help.

I used it with 836cc and +80 rwhp without problem. I replaced the clutch when I bored further to 1005cc and much higher torque
