Canuck down in Jacksonville FL for work. Any place around here I should go to check out custom parts/spare parts for my 78 550? Specifically I’m looking for little headlight LED button to replace the cheap Chinese one that stopped working, and maybe a kill switch. And just any cool bike shops.

Where I'm from, custom shops where I can pick up things like I've mentioned are non-existent, so any suggestions would be hugely appreciated.  Figured some folks in this forum may know...

cheers!

I can't think of any in Jacksonville. Perhaps closer to Daytona, or the West Coast (St Pete). There is a JP Cycles a bit farther north up I-95 but mostly their stuff is Chinese junk  :(

I could probably make my way out to Daytona Beach at some point if you have suggestions there.  I'd even be open to Chinese junk :D  I was hoping to find some cool shops where I could sort of wander and peruse, dream of ideas for the bike if that makes sense.  Plus get those items I originally mentioned if they're cheap.

Well, if you are up for a bit of a drive, you might prefer this place:
http://www.acecafeusa.com
Its in Orlando, and is the US presence of the famous UK Ace Cafe. I'll be in Fort Lauderdale for the next 2 weeks for business, so if you really want to spend a couple of hours in the car....  ;)

Oh geeze!  That's funny I thought it was a bike shop named after the cafe, took me a bit to realize it was a cafe haha.  Ft Lauderdale would be my pleasure but I just checked at it's a 5 hour drive or so... given that I'm here to fly for the Air Force that is just gonna put my fatigue a bit over the edge!

Know of any other shops where I can get cool parts and such? Wish I was close enough to meet for a coffee :)
