Yep, it's coming.

Night of waiting up for the car crashes, burns, fights (gotta have those, right?), etc.  Hoping that the patient doesn't hurl his undigested beer and snacks all over me.  Already had a call out for a search last night.  Isolated mesa, snowstorm, already over 12" of snowfall, and these guys abandon their truck to...what?!  And one is in shorts and flip-flops?!   :o  Now, there's good clothing for a snowstorm.

Yep, this is the time of year when folks start seriously competing for that Darwin award.  ::)

Pretty sure that won't be any motorcycle crashes in our area, though.

Wait, I *did* hear there was one guy spotted down in ABQ riding a red bike in the snow...
Angel, you rock!     ;D  (just stay safe, eh?)

Ho, ho, ho and (nearly) farewell to 2006.

Don't forget to be on board tomorrow, everyone.  Now, when was that supposed to be, specifically???

2006 was a good year for me...mainly because I met and acquired the delightful Silver Sophie. She will be pressed into good service next year doing my 240km round trip commute to work, most days of the week. She sits in the garage patiently waiting for me to do all the little jobs I keep promising her I will do. Of course, being a Honda, if I do nothing I know that she will fire up and carry on uncomplainingly!!

afternoon and early evening in the "states" timezones.

btw, the ho, ho, ho dialog has been changed to become more politically correct.  it should now be written, typed, said and heard as:
