56mm wrist pins for Venolia "262" 71mm pistons
« on: November 16, 2017, 07:03:47 pm »
Hello guys,

I'm new to this forum and this is gonna be my first post/question, so please bare with me. I used the search function but could come up with an answer for my question.

I'm building a 72 CB750 with was a former drag bike (1000cc, RC 327 cam, Venolia 71mm pistons etc.) .... I'm in process of rebuilding the engine at the moment. I'm doing a few upgrades to it that haven't been done, or replace anthing worn etc. Putting in APE studs, Cycle X super rods, hd cam chain, hd primary chains etc.

Also my wrist pins need to be replaced. Somehow I didn't think about the difference in piston size from stock to 71mm and bought a set of stock wrist pins. But now Ive been searching online on where to get 56mm long 15mm wrist pins and I cant find anything.

Does any of you guys know where to get them or know of anyone who can make them?

Any info is greatly appreciated! And i'll start a little build thread soon as well

Cheers,
Simon from Austria

Yeah, he's here hanging out with everybody. And he has one of his new rods he is showing off. NICE!! He tells me it is "listed" as hot street but in fact it is actually a race rod too. Can't divulge the whole story though  ;)

Call and ask to speak with or email Pat. He's also a member here.

Apparently every significant person in the CB racing world is down there haha tried to talk to Kenny at Cycle X on Thursday and they told me he's down there too.
