I am rebuilding a 1974 cb750 mild custom that came with the extended forks chopper style. I have a really nice set of forks from a CB550 left over and wondered if there was any issue swapping these forks in this bike? I see where some have put cb750 forks on a cb550 but not the other way around. I am wondering if weight differences would make that a bad idea?
