new(er) carbs on the way

Just picked up a set of "HOPEFULLY" 76 550 F/SS carbs on ebayer. Seller said they were from a 76' 550 F model but couldn't find the stamp on the carb bodies.
Anyway, got a very good deal and they are complete. The reason for the purchase is so I can basically learn about carbs and stop being a sally when it comes to them. They will be completely torn down and rebuilt. Hopefully when thats all done I'll at least know what I'm looking at
Just thought I'd share my winter learning project. Who knows, I may and probably will put them on the bike when done.

Theres a model stamp on the Piston Barrels. With that number, plus knowing your jet sizes, im sure someone can confirm they are 550 SS carbs. The F and K models used different jets, Needle tapers and Clip positions.
