Sorry; I should have mentioned the goggles.

They have two curved clear plastic lenses; a chrome metal frame around them, hinged in the middle; and a black plastic covering over foam padding where they fit against your face. They do have the WW1/vintage look; and if you have a long forehead, or a tall cranium, they may fit just right. I guess I'm too much a "flathead" for them to fit correctly...   ;D

How about a pic of it perched precariously on your handsome "bonce" Rich? I think I'm a "High brow" compared to your "low brow" or is that I've got an "SOHC" compared to your "Flat Head", mill? Ha ha, Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Geez mate, you're incredibly fugly! It's almost like you were born without a forehead? Do you get any kind of government financial assistance with a cranial defect like that?

Ha ha, just joking Rich, nice "skid-lid" mate, just don't go diving into a sea of bitumen using your nose as a rudder, ha ha! Cheers, Terry.  ;D

Geez mate, you're incredibly fugly!

My mum assured me I was beautiful!!!   >:(

BTW: That sticker on the side of the helmet is some kind of weird Japanese cartoon, I think...(it peels right off)...it says "Small Jet...Sky Rider...Motorcycle Vintage Helmet...for JP Helmet®"...and the cartoon is a fly with big red eyes and a white glove showing the #1 finger...(no, not that finger!)...  ::)

Regardless of what the cartoon sticker says, the strap in the back says "L", so Large it is...  ;)

Puppytrax,

You've owned this helmet for almost 3 months... where's the long term report?   ;D  Seriously though, anything new to report?  Are you still satisified w/ the purchase?

I would replace the buckle (the click in type) with the two ring loop type.
The snap buckles fail in a crash. A helmet that’s not on your head can’t do very much.

This is what a cop told me

It has the two loops - the bright circles in the side view. The snap is removable.   ;)

Terry's just jealous...I could win a Phil Read lookalike contest...   ;D

Mine must be an older version... I only have one loop. But look at your loops, are they cast metal or welded at the seam? Mine is just round stock bent into the shape and nothing holding it together at the seam. This is very dangerous because it can separate and bend apart.

Mine seem to be the same; except they are more flat than rounded...but no weld, no...   :'(

The seam is inside the Nylon strap/loop; I had to twist them to see...   :P
