Ok,according to all balls.the 75/76 gw is a direct swap with our 750's.77 and up are different in some respect but im not sure what the diff is

I'm trying to figure that out too, as I just bought a '76 750F with a dual-disc GL front end. I've got Comstars front and rear on mine. I'll try to get some pictures of what mine's got going on soon.

Mid run in 77 Honda switches to tapered bearings on the GL1000, I discovered that when I took mine apart to install an All Balls kit. Some research confirmed the factory switch. The bearing size in the kit was identical t the ones on the bike.
