Any website geeks out there? Wix.com
« on: May 30, 2018, 03:04:09 PM »
I have a somewhat crazy idea, I'd like to create a very basic, inexpensive website for my good friend that will showcase his classic car collection [and a few Honda bikes too].

I would want a page or two for each of his vehicles that has various photos that could be easily uploaded and changed periodically and a half page or so of specs.

I've found an available domain, Its available on GoDaddy for $13 and whaile researching came up with  https://www.wix.com/

Havent signed up yet but it looks to be fairly simple and can be done in a day.

Any of you guys have experience with this?  If yes, can you please share some info and/or suggestions?

For those into classic cars, he has bought a couple Mustangs, Corvettes, trucks, a Cobra, Camaro, Cutlass and a couple roadsters [I've helped him find most of them].

Thanks for any help.

Don’t jug me too much.  I’m really lazy at updating it.  With their templates I probably have an hour in setting it up.  It was really easy.

I like it!   And only an hour to set it up is very appealing to me.  His website wouldnt really need updates since he doest restore. I would only update the photos of the vehicles and add to it when a new one is added to the collection.

Do you mind if I ask about pricing?  Thanks Shawn

Steve, I built the RestoCycle website on Wix.

www.restocycle.com

I’m very happy with the platform overall.
