Just a test to see if there's anything wrong as I've just received this message from a member wanting to post pics.

hello sam, i've been a member here for a few years and posted my build on my cb750. i just got some hondamatics and just wanted to share on the hondamatic page. but it wont let me post any pics. do i need special permission from administrators? and is there a specific file the pics need to be in? jpg or jpeg or others? thanks

No idea mate but my picture posted, hahahaha.
Can anyone figure why this guy cant post pictures?
He has over 100 posts but has never posted a picture although he did once post a video.

ive posted a ton of pics on the project build thread and tried there and let me post with a pic. on the hondamatic thread when i click post it loads as if posting then reverts to new topic and doesnt post

Someone said that Glenn had upped the size of what you could post but yours must have been really big.
Pleased that you managed it but when I looked through your post in your profile there were no pictures, strange.

Sam, the maximum attachment size of pics allowed has varied over the years; the current setting is 4096KB, up from 2000KB. At some point in the past there was no size restriction, but in reality anything over 2000KB is a waste of bandwidth; most pictures will display nicely at much lower resolutions.
The preferred method of posting pictures is via attachment, rather than via a hosting service, as Glenn has mentioned in the past.
