My tool of the day........

This heat gun sells for $8.99 with a coupon at Harbor Freight.  Recently I have used it to:
1.  Heat up the carb bodies to release stuck slides
2.  Heat up the cylinder head to carb rubbers to make removal of the carbs easy
3.  Heat up a new kick starter rubber to make installation easier.
For $8.99, it’s a steal!

I agree the heat gun is a necessity with these bikes, so I decided to buy a nice one... $47 at true value hardware got me one with fancy digital heat and blower controls that worked for all of 10 minutes.

I agree.
I'm building a basket case K2 and the heat gun is a must have at any price. The uses are endless.
Also WD40 and CLR has been my freinds.
