400F Marshall exhaust question
« on: October 14, 2018, 10:16:26 AM »
hey guys

is it possible to remove the baffles from a Marshall exhaust?
I like the sound it produces right now but I prefer a more "open pipe raw sound"

Or could I cut the pipes and install a new muffler using some clamps?

+ Will I need to rejet the carbs ? everything else is stock on the bike

Will post some pictures when I receive the freshly painted gastank :)

Thanks !

most/all marchall deeptone 4/1 is veldet i have a set on both my 400 f and 550...this systems vas very common in denmark..in the 1980..and later..
mine make a nice sound..but mine can be rusted aut inside..so they are more open then stock...if the crome is bad..just cut them open..and make some mods..veld up..and paint them Black or silver..
i kan not speak english/but trying!!
