Sandcast Restoration
«

Hello all
I have a US 1969 sandcaste 750 needing full restoration.
I need some information:
- the vin number 3400 to 3450 was produced in the month of 1969.
- Oil filter cover and engine housing are painted or in natural aluminum
Thanks for the information.
Decio.

The consensus is they were all painted although some show no sign of that previous paint. I wondered of some of the prettier ones didn't get paint, the experts say they were painted however.

I assume you've seen the sandcast only owners club, lots of information there. Mine is 5511, I really didn't do a lot to it except cleaning off the wax and WD40 hiding under garage dirt.
