Yes.

When you say you have a 550F do you mean a 550F SuperSport or a 550 four? On the 550 and 750 models the F is an actual model.

Pay attention or ask seller for length from front mount to petcock, it may hit the carbs.
 If it does weld in a NPT bung and use a Pingel petcock.

If your tank is bad any 75-77 550F and 77-78 tank will fit exactly. Any 500/550 tank will work without mods, but the 500 and 74-76 550k model tanks are shorter than your stock tank so will have a gap with the stock seat.

I was in similar situation for same bike. Bought 77/78 K tank which fit like hand in glove but only issue is petcock bung thread is smaller that F petcock.
