What is the purpose of this screw on the carb plate?

What is the purpose of this spring-loaded screw on the carb plate? I looked but couldn't find anything on it...

What bike?  Should we guess?  or do we have to assume you are talking about yours and look thru your older posts to figure out what bike you have?  :-\

could be the idle set screw, or the fast idle cam set screw....help us out with a picture  ::)

Sorry, I should have been clear. It's a CB750K6.

Funny, have thought you would have had the experience to tell by simply looking at it by your response. You seem quite knowledgeable about a lot of things.

I believe it's the full throttle limit adjust.  In your picture the linkage plate to the right of the screw should be in line with the screw.

Yes, that's it, thanks. This plate was in a box of parts and I did not realize the plate and screw normally lined up. It's clear now, thanks.
