550 primary chain tensioner CB650 conversion

The common loose primary chain 550.... 5,000 miles ago i replaced that chain got it from the Bike barn $104.... now its as loose as the one i replaced
Has anyone done the CB650 tensioner conversion i think the hardest part i getting the mounting bracket... link below

Hardest part is welding and machining the crankcase
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

Don't have to weld just drill holes for the mounting bracket, it's making the aluminum bracket that's it
