Hi, Looking at your gallery I cant help noticing that nearly all the bikes I saw had fork gaiters. I think thats a great idea, even if it wasnt standard. Whereabouts would one look to purchase these babies?

if your bike didn't come with these boots, you probably will not be able to attach them as the top and bottom have to slip over a lip to hold them on. the fork tubes have a groove and the fork covers are machined to hold the top.
at least for my 75 550

If you don't have fork gaiters, you probably have dust seals and they use the same groove I'm pretty sure.

The top of the fork gaiters attach to the headlight brackets on the CB750.

and it's the same for a 550

Thanks for your replies about the fork gaiters, I do have dust seals on the forks but why I like the idea of the gaiters is protecting the chrome higher up. I might look at at automotive boots to see if something might be  adaptable.

Just get the early headlight ears to match the gators. Check a parts fische for all of the pieces used.

I have made spacers to hold up the top end of gaiters. They had a groove  for the rubber and sets crew to the fork tube.. i think someone is selling them m maybe Cyle X?
