Topic: 1975 cb400f factory tires

Does anyone know what brand/model tires a 75 cb400f would have rolled out of the dealership with?, was there more than one choice?

Thanks guys, didn't realize it was on the tire sticker! Seeing as those are long out of production, is there anything out there that has a similar tread pattern to the super sports?

In UK Metzeler but dont know if you can get them in US

i'm assuming the 400 is like most of the other 70's honda's that came with a front ribbed tire. The rear tread was patterned with a center channel usually, if my memory serves correctly.......here's some, ebay......i have no idea how good they are....

Thanks, I've used the Duros in the past on a 67 harley Sprint SS. I think they were the 308s(copy of the old Pirelli MT43) and they were actually pretty good. I normally use Avon AM26s on my old stuff except for the BSA where I use K70s but I was thinking I'd try something that looks a bit more "correct" looking on the 400f.

Thanks for all replies. Went with Duro HF314(dunlop TT100 copy) on the rear and Duro HF317(conti RB112 copy) on the front. Hopefully they won't disappoint!
