Three Wheelers?

Over the years I've built a few.
Some from scratch some based on a cycle frame.
Pic is of one based on a '74 CB360--6 speed!--frame out of Kindorf and Superstrut.-Please note Carlyle 19" dirt track front rubber.
Any other practitioners out there?

Above that a little hairy.
More a Blvd cruiser.

interesting work! i have a few questions since i'm considering  trike build in the near futur.

1- do you chain drive the rear wheel?

2-do you have more pics of the front spindles? i"m interested in knowing how you mount the wheels.

3-Where is the fuel tank? do you hide one in the side tunnel with a small electric pump?

Good questions!

I do drive the rear wheel.
I have a jack shaft halfway back that has a double-single sprocket on it.
Lots of chain but it works fine.
Built the fron spindles myself.
Basically I use 12" rear axles that happen to fit through
the front wheels which are from 70's Kawa H2.
The fuel tank is at the back above the seat--visible in pictures-gravity feed.
The Avatar shows my electric 3-wheeler.
Based on Honda XL600 frame.
Runs 48volts and the front end articulates so you can tilt into turns.
Conceptually interesting but doesn't work that great.
I'll try to scare up more pics.

Here's a confusing pic of the spindle showing part of the sliding pillar suspension which is incorporated.
Spindle pic is actually from another 3-wheeler.
