CB550 caliper hanger position

Don't have a bike here to look at and the manual isn't clear, so remind me: caliper hanger between fender mount and fork or on the outside of fender, closer to wheel?

As many as I've built I should know this by now.

Fork slider, caliper bracket, fender mount.
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Cool. That's how I have it. My brace may be tweaked (only using the brace). The cable guide is awful close to the tire and gap is different from side to side.
