Hey Dave. You might have better luck starting your own topic. Try the "Other Bikes" section here. This thread is about the Rickman's and your post might get lost in the shuffle.

Hi kosmjon, This just popped up on UK Ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/genuine-rickman-honda-cr750-/381976532467?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276

Posted for your inspiration, but if you want to buy it and keep it in my garage until you can collect I'm happy to oblige  ;D

Good luck with your build. Cheers  Geoff

Ha, that would be nice, eh?  Looks like no takers on that one.
BTW, thanks for all the recent pics and links.  I've been a bit side-tracked with honey-do tasks and other stuff.  I have sold 4 bikes since 1 Jan and have raised a good bit of capital for buying the remaining parts needed for this Rickman-Honda replica.

To assure you there is life in this project, look what arrived today by FedEx from Airtech Streamlining in CA:

Parts look amazing and Airtech did a wonderful job.  I had already received the windscreen from Gustafsson Plastics (who knew they were just an hour away in St. Augustine.)

Probably won't get a lot done until April at rate things are going, but I it is nice to have all the fiberglass on site now.

Nice glass pieces.  I assume you will line the gas tank with an epoxy (like Caswell) to resist against the effects of ethanol-based fuels.

The quality of the body work looks A1, great when your project receives significant parts and you can begin to see what it might look like.

Cheers  Geoff

There was an orange Rickman CB750 that was being "flipped" at MidO.
I heard a rumor that it was bought for CHEAP in the campgrounds Thursday before the event really started.

I very much want to add a Rickman to my garage.

It is alive, but moving very slowly. I've bought a lot of parts including all the bodywork from Airtech.  I've been building and flipping other bikes to save up some $$ to finish it.  Goal is to bring it to Barber in October.  I will check out your progress for inspiration.

Thanks! The racing there is so fun to watch.  Must be amazing to actually be on the track racing.

So I'm trying to switch everything to Google Photos. It took a while but I finally figured out how to get a direct link and it is working well.

Indeed it is. This is my second year and I am already pumped for Barber. Build yours right and it will fall into Sportsman 750 for Formula 750, then you could come play!! We need more SOHC representation in Sportsman, since its only 3 of us right now, against a BIG field of XS650's.

After 27!! Months this project is alive again!
A couple months back I had cylinders bored to .001 clearance cruizinmage 836 kit.

This week I drilled and drove out old valve guides and drove in new APE guides.

Today I used Neway cutters to cut new seats and a flex hone to get the valves to fit.

Then I removed old cylinder studs to make way for new APE HD studs.
