CB750K4 Airbox
« on: May 26, 2019, 08:16:29 PM »
Hello all,

After a weekend of sidewards rain and water soaked pod filters, I have decided I need to put an airbox back on ::) ::)
Issue is my bike didn't come with one and finding a 1974 box in Australia is hard, my questions are:

What is the differences between the airboxes, if any throughout the K series?
What/how many parts make up the airbox? (Boots, seals, covers bolts ect)
Are they hard to install or fairly easy?

Thanks :)

Even though there are some slight differences look for an airbox from a 1971-1976 K model and you will be fine. New airbox intake rubbers/snorkels that attach to the carbs are available making mounting the airbox easier which are one of the easier filter systems to deal with in the Honda line. Also make sure no one has hacked off the two mounting tabs on the frame.
