not that i would advocate anything illegal...but

for anyone in australia contemplating an import helmet ( either something truly ridiculous like the bali monster helmets, a simpson bandit or a smaller than small open face etc) you will no doubt have realised that they don't come with the relevant australian AS1698 standards sticker. heres the solution

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-x-AS-NZS-1698-sticker-Australia-Aufkleber-etichetta-silver/162652182216?hash=item25ded356c8:g:NMIAAOSwGWJcPPJ~&frcectupt=true

i don't personally need any because i used to work for an importer who always had a stash for when a legal helmet turned up without its sticker, just thought others might like to know

but of course its illegal so none of you would do that would you ?

no worries

i was in your corner of vic on the weekend, went to yarrawonga to visit the MIL and attend a hot rod run, they also had nostalgia drags out at wilby which were great until some poor fcuker went through the ( seriously ) inadequate armco, came out of his car and he's going to lose a leg and arm....

nice area though, shall be wandering up again i guess not that the MIL is living up there ( she just moved down from qld) and not a bad drive up from melb going the back way through yaaaay and bonnie doon etc
i blame Terry

Spotty, Armco is like a car shredder, if it was capped on top and covered the posts top to bottom it may not be so bad.

A long time ago when I used to ride vespas my back wheel parted company with the bike followed shortly by me
Luckily there was some armco along the side of the highway,
unluckily I was sliding on my back and could go straight under it,
luckily I hit one of the uprights with my left foot which saved me disappearing into the rather deep gully on the other side.
Unluckily, this forced the ball of my ankle straight up the middle of my leg bone

I gave up scooters after that and coincidentally stopped having regular accidents ( 30 in 30 months on scooters, 4 or 5 in the next 35 years on bikes )
