1979 cb650 Choke Usage
« on: September 05, 2019, 07:01:21 AM »
Hey guys,
I feel that my bike takes a little longer to warm up than what I am reading in these forums.
Carbs are clean, but takes about 7 miles or 15-20 minutes of stop and go riding in order for me to push the choke all the way in.

Anything to worry about?

They are from the "lean burn" era like the 750F2 and 550K3 and they all take a long time to warm up and idle properly
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
