Topic: "Oil guide, final"????

Can anybody help? Part 10 in the photo 0f the CB750K2 crankcase shows “oil guide, final”. It’s part number 15621-300-000. I’m building a race engine using the CB750F2 crankcases. I’ve got two sets of crankcases and neither have this part. Also, I’ve checked the F2 parts list and there’s no sign of it. Am I correct to assume the F2 never had this oil guide? Thanks in advance.

It's for the early types of final driven shaft with an integrated chain-oiler.
No need for it in your engine as you have a solid shaft.

If you assembly the engine with the bottom case on the bench, you'll need it since it will keep the final shaft in place in top case during case meeting case assembly.
