Well I just finished a 1967 CL77 (305 Scrambler) and was looking for something else before the snow flies here in Virginia when I ran across this 1973 CB500 Four.  It is rough as a cob, had the infamous "Hog Wheel" conversion from the 70's, but came with a ton of extra parts to include the original exhaust which I believe is repairable.  15K on the clock, compression, but no fire, (failed ignition switch) so I am going to bring her back little by little as the budget and time permits.  Will be visiting the site often for information and will steal every good trick and idea that comes down the pike.  Some shots below to include the CL77, I know it is a 4 site, but I am damn of how the twin turned out....

Another great bike is saved!
Do the back to stock look restore is a human historical thing.

It would be sad if all old bikes should be rebuilt to cafe, brat etc and people forget how they looked like direct from factory.
