Got a few test passes in today on the new bike. First run it seemed to miss shift but had a 1.40 sixty foot time. Only ran  6.92 @103mph.  Next pass was much better and it did shift each time. Had a 1.41 sixty foot and ran a 6.39@103mph. It still has a little more in it so I feel some sixty foot in the  1.30's are just around the corner along with some 6.20's. It's getting there.

That was an 1/8th mile pass. I would guess the 1/4 mile conversion would predict that to be a 10.0? pass or so. I'm going to get to a 1/4 mile track soon to make a few passes.

This is a video of the first pass. Bike didn't shift to 2nd to begin with.  I think I fanned the shifter button. I may end up changing it to a different set up. I shifted fine on the 2nd pass and may be due to me concentrating more on pressing it in deliberately. If replacing the button doesn't work, I'll be pulling the engine out to replace the drum or forks. The dogs have been cut on the tranny.

Its coming along okay Jerry. I've only made 3 passes on the bike thus far so it'll get quicker as I get more comfortable riding the bike. Nothing to worry about as far the F3 goes. Its my left and right hand bike and always will be until I can't ride anymore. I just need to freshen it up. My machinist is down for the moment with knee surgery. Once he's at 100%, I'll tear the engine down and get the head redone. I'm replacing the stock Honda valves with stainless steel this time. I may have to bore up one size and install new pistons on this rebuild. Unfortunately the bore has been suspect for some time now. The crank has to be replaced as well.
