Honda CB650 dynamo cover, is there a ribbed/finned type
« on: March 19, 2020, 11:39:04 AM »
Hi there from the Netherlands. im new here. Just bought a nice 1979 Honda CB650z that i plan on fixing up a little and using for my daily commute.

Im looking at the dynamo cover and it looks a bit out of style, a bit too modern for me.

Does anyone know if there is a ribbed or finned one available? Like with cooling ribs. I've seen those on a CB500 (or550 maybe). And i like them. Plus with the extra cooling the rotor might live a little longer...

Thanks!

As far as I've seen, nothing currently exists for aftermarket side covers. The 650 ones are larger than their 500/550 counterparts and don't swap over

The "points" covers swap. Not sure about the generator cover.
