Manufacturer Dating Letter / Certificate
« on: February 21, 2020, 04:40:23 am »
Hi,

I recently bought a CB750 K6 USA import from DK Motorcycles in Stoke, they don't have the USA equivalent of the V5 log book etc or the Nova. However they are writing me a letter to confirm the ownership details etc! I have also contacted Honda UK with the engine and frame numbers seeking a manufacturer dating letter / certificate so that I register the bike with the DVLA, however Honda UK have written back saying "on this occasion it has not been possible to identify the motorcycle.

Can anyone help or explain the best way to register the bike with DVLA! or there isn't much point me staring the restoration.

Thanks

Congrats.  We do things a little different here in the States than the UK.

My buddy recently bought an Austin-Healey, came with the Certificate, he's like what do I do with that?!
