Manifold for PD42
« on: March 20, 2020, 03:46:21 pm »

Hello guys
my 836 is ready with cam F and PD42 carburetors.
I mounted the solenoid but the manifolds of the A and the kit cb 750 KZ / F / C code 16211/12/13 / 14-425-000 are not good.
which are the right ones?  greetings from Italy
Orazio

Try reading this thread:

I believe that the part numbers you've listed are for the 1979 (and some later years), and not for the 1978/earlier bikes.

I believe you need these:  16211-300-030 and 16212-300-030.  These are the manifolds spec'd for the earlier K bikes.  The CB750A head is the same as the K bikes.

1978 CB750A (upgrading very, very slowly)

Past bikes - Honda: SL350, CX650C, CB900C, CB1000C, CM450A; Kawasaki: several 1972 750 H2's; Suzuki: TC90J.

Bikes I want: CX650ED, a mid-sized japanese V-twin with ABS.

Due to the CORONA VIRUS health crisis,
The collectors that have been recommended to me are not currently available.
While waiting, I tried to modify the old (very hard) sleeves by enlarging the hole to insert the carburetors
 PD42.
Assembly test tomorrow.
