What a cool picture, it's like one of those puzzles where you have to find ten things that don't match.  Did someone put a honda cover on a clone of the period?  I can't venture a guess but I'll be watching.

Yes, I knew about them,  when I first saw the picture of the quattro500, my first reaction was the thin seat that kicks up in the back, I guess I need to review my own definition of what a brat-style seat is.  I'll get there...maybe.

Actually it's a Benelli 654.....I've got a couple of them plus my CB500....most parts are interchangeable
Another pic of the Benelli with my spare cb650 motor slotted in whilst I was over hauling the Benelli donk

In case you're interested, I have two articles in my archives in which the Honda CB500 and Benelli 500 Quattro are compared. The one where they are raced against each other (Nürburgring), is in German though.

 I knew about the 500 and the 750. Wasn't aware they made a 654.
 Will those finned rocker cover end caps fit the Honda 550?

No...... rocker ends are changed on the 654......part of the rotating rocker shaft fix
