Hi guys. I'm checking clearances of connecting rods and crankshaft bearings.
In Europe I was not able to find the plastigage of american brands like Dana o Seal Power that have good ranges for our scopes like the 0,01-0,03 inches (0,0254-0,0762mm)
I found the plastigage of Kolbenschmidt brand. Are these plastigage fit for our pourposes ? what makes me suspicious is that to appreciate gaps of few cents the wire shall expand a lot and the radius of our crankshaftsbearings are so small...
Anyone used them ?
