Adding rubber center stand stop to Mac 4-2s CB750

I’d like to add the rubber center stand stop to the left muffler on my Mac 4-2s. There’s a stop there already but no hole - just a metal flange. How big should the hole be? Also is the rubber c-stand stop the round one or the square one?
