Anyone know the proper throttle cable route on Cb550???

I can’t seem to find which way the throttle cables are supposed to be routed. I keep having throttle issues(high idle when returned throttle) because the cable comes short and thus it tugs on the carbs too much. Any help would be great!

They should go around the steering head, under the tank below the tank's cushion, then back to the carbs.
If they won't go that far, they are the wrong length!

however...this is from a honda 550F supplement. You'll see an example of confusion that even honda can create. It shows two different routings for the throttle cables.
