Ok, I should give more hints:
garage door is always in the shade,
currently have 16 inches on most of the property
EXcept in front of the garage door, this being where the wind swirls and dumps large loose snowballs
making it more difiicult to take bikes out of garage.
Have never been able to take bikes out of garage before April 1st.

SO, usually even if most of the snow melts around the house, I must be snow-free in front of the garage.
The "garage" snow always stays at least 1, sometimes 2 weeks after the majority of snow has melted.

So, ALL the snow has to disapear , ie so I can take out my 6 mc's,

gastanks being offered are on my website,
pick ONE.
Have several cb750 tanks, only one of which comes with a key and is definitely rust-free/dent free.
Wanted $250 for it last summer....oh well.
no cb500 nor cb550's gastanks. All are being used.
Only one will be awarded/won.

Any donation you make for shipping/handling goes to charity.
peace,
michel

Don't forget people that this year is the year of the locusts/cacades (sp?)
The damn big bugs that come every 17 years and cause hell for a month in the summer.
Cant wait to hit one of those at 45mph... ::)
The "Brood X" cicadas emerged in 2004 down here. Nasty little suckers. They eat EVERYTHING! Mass carnage in the trees. Good luck.

My guess is April 5. I'll be on the list under starion88esir.  ::)

April 13th is a good day my son will be 26 this year. He lives in sunny Sarasota Florida, the destination of my last road trip.

My Guess is April 6th.

That's the day you'll get a good rain that will wash all the snow away!!!

I can't wait for mud season, it means the end of Snow Season!

Cheers,

Ben

Just had a dusting of 1.543inches ..... Vermont snow season continues.

A question: when should the cutoff be for the end of this contest?
March 15th?
any votes, else some wise guy could view satellite photos of my yard and guess....
peace,
michel

A wiser guy could show up at your place at an opportune moment and do a bit of shoveling. ;)

Mike

If he had one of these he wouldn't have to worry about getting out of the garage. ;D

Really, to be fair, only one guess.
Currently snow is still over 1 foot deep, even with the warm
weather we had yesterday.
Only 3 more days to guess.
Now I need to get to work on the KZ1300/6.
peace,
michel
PS. if you guess the same date as a previous person, the time you posted
will be used to determine actual time snow has completely melted.

Ok, guessing time is up.
Past 2 days temps have been around 60F in town, and 49F here
(per the temp monitor in the car).
Weatherman predicts 6-12 inches of snow today.
Snow in front of garage is still over 1 foot with about 3-5 inches of ice.
The contest continues.

Did you know it is impossible to push a KZ1300 with fariing through
over 1 foot of snow?
Well, it is.
Starting to hate this stuff, can't wait to move back to North Carolina/Georgia
where they only have to worry about floods, hurricanes and twisters. ;D
oh and hail, bugs, bigger bugs and alligators and bugs.
