Help with CBX750 P parts identification and function

Hello everyone,
I just got myself a 1980 CBX750 P ,
i want to rebuild it , because its a police version so it has a lot of useless electronics like mega mic, hooter , emergency lamp etc,
I want to completely rewire this as a cafe racer,
please help me identify these parts as well as explain what there function is,
Your help and assistance is greatly appreciated :)

#1 - air cooled alternator to charge battery
#2 - Trigger for ignition.

Is this alternator AC or DC ?
Can you further explain what type of alternator is this, like field excited or battery excited ?

I know, that as an alternator, it is AC, hence the name alternator, not generator.
Not sure how it's excited.
