Hi there

I was wondering If flat seats like this (http://4into1.com/branan-brat-style-seat-black/) fit on a CB 550 without having to alter anything else on the bike?

Cheers!

Pumping up this thread.

I'm looking for Brat style flat seats to use in my CB 500 Four Without cutting the frame.

I've seen on 4 into 1 a Chinese made, the Mantis Brat seat:
https://4into1.com/the-mantis-brat-seat-black/
It's out of stock, looking all over online but can't find.

This is a  64cm lenght, and makes it a possibility to adapt into the 66cm of the original seat, and still cover that awful "hump".

I spoke with Chris from Tuff Side from USA, and he could make a custom one, but I would have to send him the seat pan that I would have to custom myself.
Which I will at some point, but I will have to put my mind around it to make a really nice one, that would look as flat as possible, and send him for upholstery.

Seats are a pain to make your custom without cutting the frame.

Anyone knows any other alternative Brat style seats online like the Mantis?

Thanks,
Flavio

All that is, is a repro stock pan with cut down foam and custom cover.  Ama superbike racers were doing this to their bikes in the 70's.  No need to add a hoop or cut the factory brace.  And no need to ruin yet another stock frame for the sake of a ridiculous internet trend that has been going on far too long.
If it works good, it looks good...
