Topic: Super Sport side covers

 Hi, I am a new member, mostly reading posts as I recently resurrected a barn find 550. My question is will the super sport side covers fit on a 1975 cb550k?

 The bike came with only one cover, and then I managed to loose the other. I just like the look of the smaller covers, but am thinking they will not fit with out a bunch of adjusting.

No they wont, lpm in UK do excellant reprod better than original

I could swear there was an old thread that went over all of the possible combinations of side covers and frames that work for 500s and 550s, can't seem to find it though.

 I think one side will fit but the other side has one of the tabs clocked differently and it won't line up. Same with the '77-78 side covers on '76 and earlier bikes. Though, the '77-78K and 550F models covers will interchange (I'm pretty positive about this, but someone correct me if I'm wrong).
