Quick question on rearset design.

Would it be of any benefit or detriment for a rearset footpeg to pivot with the control lever when the lever is pressed to shift or brake?

Definitely wanna separate the two.

Limits the chance of accidentally engaging something when applying force to the pegs

Alan, the tarrozis on my gs1100 work that way.  Well, the shifter side anyway...at first, i did not think i would like it.  Within one ride, i did not notice any difference
If it works good, it looks good...

The shift side works that way, I'd have thought the shift side would be easier to accidentally engage/disengage than the rear brake would be.

I suppose there are simple but effective ways to increase stability of a pivoting peg like this. Such as locating the pivot high on the cross section of the peg as opposed to center.

Dont over think it. Rotating your foot on a peg you basically have no leverage unless you use the lever.

Wow, I totally misunderstood your meaning for a bit there, I've got it now.
